Distinguishing Sweet Basil Vs Holy Basil And Uses of Sweet Basil:
He who has health has hope and who has hope has everything
My aunt used to make a purple-pink-flowered herb sauce from its leaves. That plant used to grow easily in our house. And we used to say to her why do you start eating every plant?😁😀
However, its benefits were discovered later to me because I was very curious to find out which plant she uses to make "chutney". I was delighted to learn that this purplish, pink beauty is actually an edible herb. Its fragrance was very sweet and strong. When we shook its leaves, the scent became even stronger. In Urdu, we call this plant "Niazbou," while in English, it is called sweet basil.
